Mp3Extractor v09.08

A tool for extracting several portions from an MP3 or WAV into new (tagged) files.

Listen to your material (e.g. recorded radio shows, live performances, DJ sets) through Winamp, and with the help of mp3Extractor, find the portions, parts or tracks of interest that you want to cut out, drop markers at the desired start and stop times of these takes and optionally add track information.

Mp3Extractor includes many features for navigating swiftly through even lengthy input files, checking and fine tuning marker positions. When you�re done setting markers, the program will copy the corresponding MP3 frames to new MP3 files, without changing a bit of audio data, properly name and tag these output files and optionally write track information to a database list. Whereas a cutter will in most cases merely trim a file, and a splitter will just cut it into pieces, the Mp3Extractor will give you exactly the parts of the file that you want - and only these.

EMDB is a small application to keep track of your DVD collection. Some of the features include automatic import from the database of IMDB, cover preview, a loan tracker, search function and multi-language user interface. SynthFont is a tool for playing/rendering MIDI files using SoundFonts and other similar sound sources. The result can be played back through a sound card or written to wave files. With SynthFont you can also create audio files (WAV, MP3, OGG, APE, FLAC) from your MIDI files. SynthFont�s main sound sources are SoundFonts, but also wave files, DLS and GIGA files - and now also VST Instruments - can be used.

SynthFont supports the use of both VST effects and instruments. SynthFont has some basic SoundFont editing capabilities and also shows the MIDI data in a Piano Roll and an Event list. A stand-alone VST instrument version of SynthFont is also available.

Bugfixes:

Versions 1.554 and 1.555 had a bug causing it to draw the Pianoroll badly when the Grid Size was set to more than 1. Additionally the 'Show Scale' checkbox in 'Key Signature and Melodic Scale' did not work (notes were not grayed)

Keys used as shortcuts could not be used to navigate to files in the Explorer list
After editing and saving a SoundFont group file in use by a track, the track presets were not updated
The playback position in the Pianoroll did not respond to a user change of the BPM factor (in 'Plug & Play')


Other:

The shortcut key for pause/resume playback used to be 'W' or 'Pause/Break'. It is now only 'Pause/Break'.
